Coach Jinyu Wu
Jinyu Wu was born in Shanghai, China, and moved to Florida when she was 14 years old. She is bilingual in English and Mandarin. Jinyu graduated from California State University with a degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing her master’s in Athletic Coaching at Florida State University. She will soon begin her second master’s degree in Sport Management at the University of Florida.
Jinyu has been playing golf since she was five years old. She competed in junior golf tournaments in Florida and reached a ranking as high as 60 in the AJGA. She went on to play four years of Division I golf, earning multiple top-five and top-ten finishes.
She is a First Tee Level One Coach and has extensive experience coaching youth golfers. Jinyu is passionate about developing young athletes, helping them build both their skills and confidence on and off the course.
