NEW FORMAT: 2 PERSON SCRAMBLE
“We have listened to you and this year we present our new 2 Person Scramble. The players wanted a more competitive event without the need to buy mulligans and advantages to compete, just golf. We listened, we heard you and we delivered. The Shootout has been reformatted to a 2 PERSON SCRAMBLE tournament with no mulligans or pay to improve advantages. We will have competitive and for fun flights that we have named “Were here for the TROPHY” and “We’re just here for the DRINKS”. Bring your golf buddy and see how your game stacks up at The Shootout @ Eagle Creek!” Tournament Director, Mike Morancy
Eagle Creek’s own annual 4-person scramble tournament has gotten a face lift! We heard the public calling for a more competitive event based on golf skills and not how many mulligans you can buy. We listened and we delivered!
This year’s event will be a TWO PERSON SCRAMBLE format. Teams will swap scorecards and the course chooses the teams/pairings to ensure accuracy.
There will be 2 Flights for this event, no handicaps.
(Professionals are not allowed to win. You may enter but you must disqualify yourself for the place prizes.)
Contests and Games:
- Closest to the Pin x4
- Longest Drive x2
- Putting Contest
- Chip in the Cooler Game
- Raffle and 50/50 Raffle
- Sign up by Monday, July 7th
There will also be a prize awarded for the BEST DRESSED team!
As always, the proceeds from this event will benefit Fairways for Warriors.
